The Bessemer Classical School also appreciates in-kind gifts. Everyday items needed in the classroom include:

  • Blue long-sleeve uniform sweaters for all students. Sizes needed: 8 small, 8 medium and 4 large.
  • Prepackaged snacks for After School program: Our After School Program runs from 2:00-6:00. We need prepackaged crackers, pretzels, animal crackers, etc. that we can give as a snack each day.
  • Target, MasterCard, Visa, or Walmart Gift Cards: These will be used to purchase food or other supplies for school families or to purchase general supplies, office supplies for TBCS.
  • Recess Equipment: Suggestions: basketballs, footballs, soccer balls, kickballs, foam footballs, playground balls, single jump ropes, beanbag games and activity sets, hula hoops.
  • Board Games: We use board games on days when we have to have indoor recess, and we also use them in the After School program. We need board games for ages 5-10.
  • First Aide Supplies: band-aides, gauze pads, digital thermometers and disposable thermometer covers, children's Tylenol, antibiotic cream, hydrogen peroxide, alcohol wipes, disposable gloves
  • Pencils
