In addition to rigorous academics, The Bessemer Classical School above all else is committed to filling students wtih Scripture and in discipling them toward Christian adulthood. The school is also intentional about training students on life skills such as how to shake hands and look someone in the eye, how to dress, how to speak and the overall power of a first impression.

With the focus of influencing well-rounded students who possess a strong education, close relationship with God and leadership skills, TBCS has partnered with several organizations in the community to offer additional tutoring, mentorship and extracurricular activites such as string instrument lessons, baseball practice and Vacation Bible School. The school also has an After-school and Summer program to enrich and continue the education of the student after "school hours."
