Welcome

       As head master of The Bessemer Classical School I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your interest in learning more about our school.  We are new to the urban ministry scene (opening in August 2007), and are very excited by what God is already doing through us.  Since August 2007 we have grown to add a third grade class, and doubled our enrollment. 

    The mission of The Bessemer Classical School is to provide children in the Bessemer area with a first-class Christ-centered education that is affordable to all.  The School utilizes the Trivium to teach students not only facts that they will need to know, but how to learn.  Our students will enjoy greater future success, having learned how to approach subjects in a way that promotes mastery.

    While The Bessemer Classical School offers one of the finest educations available, it is the goal of the school that God be ultimately glorified and students and their families obtain eternal life through Jesus Christ.
